Settling in.

There's so much I want to remember.

Voyageur

I've spent the day in my pjs, packing for Europe and writing Christmas cards. Hot chocolate and Kathleen Edwards' album Voyageur on repeat. I could not even imagine today; the next two weeks are unfathomable.

Five

Five is a poetry anthology that collects new work from five (well, what did you expect?) Canadian poets. Published out of Ottawa's Apt. 9 Press and printed at Toronto's Coach House Printing, Five is a project I'm honoured to be a part of, and a book I'm happy to share with you, here

Also pleased as punch to be invited to read from the book this December at the University of Surrey.  For those of you in the London area, come say hi! Details found here.

Kensington Market

Just a few snaps from last weekend's visit to Toronto.

Laura is radiant here and always.

When I'm having a good time, I put the camera down. Lately, I've been having a very good time.

May a joyous Halloween be yours

A gypsy fire is on the hearth,
sign of the carnival of mirth

through the dun fields and from the glade
flash merry folk in masquerade

for this is Halloween!
